！A very short 4 day trip to shodoshima in August luckily clashes the summer festival on the island. Location is a big piece of flat land near kusakabe harbour. Although the scale of the festival is not too big, the feeling is "Just Perfect" as not crowded like hell but the atmosphere is very nice. Small tents selling different japanese traditional toys and snacks, local performance, etc. Just before the fireworks started, all the lights goes off....then "BANG!" the first one lighted up the sky!!
