1984 was written by George Orwell, who was a English journalist, crtisizing the modern society.
The books written by George Orwell I have read was two.
One is Animal Form, the other is 1984, it was this.
The endings of this story was surprising, not expected. So it was too surprising, I didn’t have any confidence whether I had read exactly this story in English. In short words, I am fear of misunderstanding meanings and sentences.
However, even when I read again and again, the sentences was not changed.
How terrible endings it was!
Julia and Winston had loved each other until the torture.
The torture which was done by the Party influenced their considerration and minds.
The betrayed was acceptable for me because no one can stand any more the tortures, the worst in the world. Who could maintain sane constantly ? I can’t, at least.
To the honest, it was very good way to say that the worst things were different for each persons, someone fears fire, earthquake, starvery, porverty, and for Winston, the rat. Rat was able to be enough to betray Julia, who was the most lover for him.
I am always located myself in the story the characters lives there. I also have many questions that world itself. Really ??? This is the ironical fiction that critisize the modern society as a counterparts. In this points, we, now, are said to be living the similar situation to this story, 1984. I am covered with many things that are considered to be right. We all are blind to what the events around us is and how it works in real. We accepts an important things without consideration. One books entitled “Factfullness” expressed real worlds everyone misunderstands showed that the our thought is sometimes mislead by social media and so on. We need to pay attention to our lives. Can we do that ???
