Amazon Primeで洋楽の名盤を聴く 7 Best Album & Soundtrack & More
サブスクが主流となっている最近の音楽事業で、一定の金額を払えばSpotifyなどで新譜旧譜問わずに名盤が聴けますが、そこまででなくても、Amazon Prime（月額500円）でもかなりのアルバムを聴くことができます。2020年6月現在で、Amazon Primeできける洋楽の名盤を紹介します。（もしリストから無くなっていたり、アルバム全曲でなくなっていたらご容赦下さい）

UKはロンドンで結成されたポップグループWorkshyのデビューアルバム。日本ではTodd Rundgrenのカバー「I Saw The Light」が話題となりましたが、ボーカルの優しい声とボサノバのアレンジが素晴らしいカバーです。全体として夏向けのお洒落サウンドです。

UKはBerkhamsted出身のクラッシックシンガーですが、日本での人気が高いのはこの「A Question Of Honour」が大きいでしょうか。日本代表のサッカー中継で流れるアレです。収録されているアルバム『Fly』は邦題『クエスチョン・オブ・オナー』になっています。

モルドバ出身のポップグループO-Zoneの大ヒットアルバムです。シングル「Doragostea Din Tei」は全英3位に輝いた他に、日本でも「恋のマイアヒ」としてヒットしました。「ノマノマ・イエィ」と英語とは違った面白さと懐かしさのあるポップサウンドが魅力です。

70年代フィリーソウルの中心だったStylisicsは全米2位に輝いた「You Make Me Feel Brand New」や全米3位の「Betcha By Golly Wow」、ソウルクラッシック「You Are Everything」（全米9位）は勿論のこと、日本では特に有名なのがCMでも使われた「Can't Give You Anything But My Love」（全米51位）でしょうか。ホーンのイントロからメロウなサウンドが最高です。
