先週の予告通り、Rihannaの「Take A Bow」がダウンロード267,000回を記録して1位に輝きました。Rihannaとしては「SOS」「Umbrella」に続く3曲目の全米1位。作曲がNe-YoでプロデューサーはStargateというコンビですが、Rihannaにとっては初のバラードの全米1位となりました。全米1位のペースはまだまだスローですが、今ポップスの中では勢いのある女性Voじゃないでしょうか。2位に後退はLeona Lewis。3位にはLil Wayneがキープしています。Danity Kaneの「Damaged」がTop10入りを果たしています。
今週Top40入りをしたのはRihanna以外ではColdplayの2曲。アルバム『Viva La Vida』から先行カットの「Violet Hill」がダウンロード44,000回で40位、アルバムタイトル曲の「Viva La Vida」がダウンロード101,000回で15位の登場でした。ちなみにロック系のラジオステーションでは「Violet Hill」がかかっています。個人的にはViva La Vidaの方がストリングスを使った「Speed Of Sound」という印象。
