ARUGAM BAY, Sri Lanka (Wednesday, August 31, 2011) – Today at the SriLankan Airlines Pro the surf and conditions are a carbon copy of yesterday. The final 3 heats of the Men's WLT Round One will take to the water first, followed by Round One of the ASP 6-Star Women's World Tour event.
"We had a massive day of surfing yesterday and we're hoping for the same again today," said Contest Director Dane Jordan. "The swell is similar to yesterday so we need to make the most of it because there are some possibly flat days on the horizon, but we're expecting to finish in great waves on the weekend."
The surf is expected to be in the 1 -3 foot range for the next few days, but is predicted to rise for an epic finish on the weekend.
Competition will start at 7am local time, watch the live webcast at www.srilankanairlinespro.com
