皆さん、おはようございます。今朝の上田はちょっと肌寒いですが、まあまあの天気です。実は、昨日BG編集部の林さんとカメラマン＆Editorの鈴木さんがBRUINにあの連載中のKZ1000リンカーン・ブラックを積んで東京から来ました。 点検整備が必要になった為の緊急外来でした。 今回は、KZ1000リンカーン・ブラック点検整備と新しくなったBRUINの店舗の紹介とプラス、BRUINメカニックの土屋君（BG紙面初登場）の取材がありました。また、後でその様子のPhotosを含めアップしますのでお楽しみに！！ さて、今朝は本家BRUINから楽しそうな「食のサイエンスのレクチャー」の案内が届いていたので英語ですがアップしますので興味の有る方はご覧ください。自分も３０年前にLos AngelesでSuchiシェフをしていたので大変興味が有ります。今回は日本人シェフも講師に参加されるようなので、楽しい食サイエンスのレクチャーになりそうですね。Something Yummy News From BRUINでした！！ちなみに、当時（1980年代）、LAカウンティーだけでも５００件ほどのJapaneseレストランがありましたよ。今や世界中に広まった「SUSHI」とその他食の勉強会と言った催しです。

1983年の写真です。Woodland Hilｌｓと言うLA郊外で白人が多く住んでいる地域で、近くにはマイケル・ジャクソンが住んでいたEncinoとい地域でもあり、治安のいい所です。Ventura Blvdと言うメインストリート沿いにあり、当時一番大きなJapaneseレストランで鉄板焼きと寿司とカクテルバーが一緒に楽しめるかなり粋で人気のスポットでしたよ。Good Old Days！！
