この文はon his watchがM、theからAmazonまでがS、has proceededがV、70%からbeforeまでがM、becauseから文末までが理由を表す副詞節でMという構造になっています。

前にも何度か指摘しましたが、もう一度英英辞典の定義を示しておくことにしましょう。

この文は、「どうしてそうであると言えるのか」という疑問を喚起し、その疑問がその後に解消されていることが確認できるので、topic sentenceであると判断することができます。

ここで第10パラグラフは終了です。このパラグラフは、文章全体に締めくくりをつける役割に特化しているためにtopic sentenceを含まないと判断することができます。
これで今回の文章はすべて読み終えたことになります。今回もパラグラフの構造を認識することが極めて重要な役割を果たすことが確認できました。
さらに、movementのように、すでに知っているように思われる単語を、むやみに訳語を貼り付けるのではなく、コンテクストに注意して、普通とは違う使い方をしていることに来づけることが極めて重要なことも確認できたようです。
