ほとんどのメディアが大久保の選出をサプライズだと大々的に強調しています。
Most media has been widely broadcasting that the selection of Okubo is a "surprise."

しかし彼は、去年Ｊリーグ１部で得点王に輝き、今シーズンはここまで得点ランキング２位のゴール数８ゴールをあげているので、僕的には順当なチョイスだなと思っています。
But as seeing from the facts that he was the top scorer of the J. League Division 1 last year and has been scoring 8 goals ranked in the second in this year's goal-scoring table, I personally feel that picking Okubo is nothing surprising.

なにはともあれ、ザッケローニ監督の判断に間違いがなかったかどうかは、６月のＷ杯本番で分かることです。
Regardless of what people think about the selection of these 23 lads, the right or wrong of coach Alberto Zaccheroni's pick will be known in the World Cup finals in June.

岡崎新記録樹立！！（Okazaki establishes a new record!!）



みなさんついにやってくれました！ドイツ１部リーグマインツ所属の岡崎慎司が日本人が欧州サッカー主要リーグ（イングランド、スペイン、イタリア、ドイツなど）で持つ得点記録を塗り替えました！！
Everyone, he has finally done it!  The German First Division team Mainz player Shinji Okazaki has established a new scoring record of a Japanese player in a season in the Europe's top soccer leagues!! (England, Spain, Italy, Germany, and etc.)

昨日行われたリーグ戦ホームのニュルンベルク戦で１ゴールを決め今季１４ゴール目とし、最多保持者だった香川真司が２年前にドルトムント時代に記録した１３ゴールを上回りました。
The forward scored one goal against the visitor Nuremburg yesterday on Matchday 32 in the league game.  It was his 14th goal of the season.  He beat Shinji kagawa's 13 goal--a previous most goal scoring record in a season as a Japanese player in Europe's top division.  The midfielder set this record two years ago when he played for Borussia Dortumund, same German first division team.

まだ残り２節あるので、僕個人としての願望では、あと４ゴール決めて得点王に輝いてほしいです。（現在のトップスコアラーは、両方とも１８ゴール記録している。）
As there are two more fixtures left in the league game, I personally would like to see him scoring four more goals and pick up the Golden Boot. (The current top scorers both mark 18 goals.)

隅田公園の桜（Sakura Trees in Sumida Park）



昨日、桜の写真を撮りに、東京の隅田公園に行って来ました！
Yesterday, I went to Sumida Park in Tokyo, one of the popular hanami viewing spots in Japan, to take pictures of sakura trees!

都内はいまお花見のシーズンとあって、あたりは花見客で大いに賑わっていました。
As it is cherry blossom season in Tokyo now, the place was filled with groups of spectators.

僕自身桜の写真をアップするのはこれが初めてなので、これを書いていたとき、非常にテンションあがっていました！！
This is my first time posting pictures of sakura on blog, so I was really excited while I was writing this piece!!

隅田川両岸から桜の写真をたくさん撮りました。心ゆくまで堪能してくださいね。：）
