開発中のDC2インテグラ前期モデル用フロントリップスポイラーとアンダーフラップの量産用生産型が完成し、試作品のフィッティングテストを行いました。この形状のリップスポイラーと別体式アンダーフラップをOEMバンパーに取り付けて高速走行するにはかなりの風圧がかかると想定されます｡ なので今まで以上に取り付け方法を考えて、より確実にリップスポイラーを固定する必要がありました。リップスポイラーのデザインはかなりシンプルなのですがリップスポイラー内側のバンパーへの取り付け部はかなり複雑なものになってしまいました。このリップスポイラーの取り付け方法はフロントバンパーを車体から取り外し、リップスポイラーをこのキットに付属するボルトナット等を使用して取り付けます。その際にバンパーに5箇所穴あけ加工が必要です。そのあとリップスポイラー装着済みのフロントバンパーを車体に取り付けます。そしてアンダーフラップをリップスポイラー底面に付属ボルトで取り付けます。このこだわりの取り付け方法のお陰でかなりの風圧にも耐えることが出来るようになったお思います｡なのでこのリップスポイラーは単品での販売は予定しておらず、リップスポイラーとアンダーフラップのセットでのみ販売予定です。購入希望者はDMにてお申し込みください。
The mass production mold of the front lip spoiler and underflap for the DC2 Integra early model under development has been completed, and fitting tests of the prototype have been conducted. It is assumed that a considerable amount of wind pressure will be applied to the lip spoiler and separate underflap of this shape when attached to the OEM bumper and driven at high speed. Therefore, it was necessary to consider the installation method more than ever before and fix the lip spoiler more securely. The design of the lip spoiler is quite simple, but the attachment part to the bumper inside the lip spoiler is quite complicated. To install this lip spoiler, remove the front bumper from the body and attach the lip spoiler using the bolts and nuts included in this kit. At that time, it is necessary to drill five holes in the bumper. After that, attach the front bumper with the lip spoiler already attached to the body. Then attach the underflap to the bottom of the lip spoiler with the included bolts. Thanks to this particular installation method, I think it can withstand a lot of wind pressure.
