GTバンパーなどと同時開発している EKシビック用ボンネットフードの進捗情報です。表面の造形はほぼ終わり後は歪み抜きなや細かい部分の仕上げのみとなりました。思い通りにさりげなさと存在感の両立したシンプルなボンネットに仕上がったと思っています。これは量産型製作の為に製作したマスターモデルなのでダクト部に通気口は空いていません。なので量産完成品には開口部にアルミネットを標準装備して出荷します。またこれから裏骨や標準装備の雨樋の開発に取り掛かります。
Here is a progress update on the hood we are developing for the EK Civic alongside the GT bumper. The surface sculpting is nearly complete; all that remains is smoothing out any imperfections and finishing the finer details. I believe we have successfully created a simple hood that strikes the perfect balance between subtlety and a commanding presence. As this is the master model used to create the production molds, the duct sections are currently solid; however, the finished production units will come standard with aluminum mesh installed in the openings. We are now moving on to developing the underside structural bracing and the standard rain channels.
