メノーラは剣ではなく、燭台ではありますが。
イスラエル国章にも見られるメノーラ
７という数字は、ユダヤ教徒にとり重要で、１週間が７日というのも、ユダヤ教からきています。
また、過越祭の際は種なしパン(マッツァ)を、７日間食べなくてはいけません。
正月の類似で漏れましたが、これも初七日や七草粥と合わせると、なかなか興味深いところです。
また、どんどん焼きは、やはりその７日後のことが多いようです。
