日常業務でSKYPEのチャットを利用している。いや多用している。グループチャットで会議まで開いているし、課内の結婚のお祝いの相談もskypeチャットで行っている。
そんなわけで今回のスカイプのシステムダウンは痛かった。その前にバージョンアップがあったのだが、そのせいでもなく、クラッカーによる攻撃でもないといっている。まあ、そういう情報を公式ブログの方であげてくれているので様子がわかってありがたい。まさに寝ずの復旧作業の様子が伝わってきて、思わず応援したくなる。
それにしてもSKYPEにとってははじめてのことで、大事件に違いない。原因究明プロセスまでしっかりと見ていきたい。
