 『 the Missing Piece 』

- NO STORY SITS BY ITSELF -

ヘッドフォン Listening to: Linkin Park - NUMB

I'm done slacking off so its time to do something productive.
I'm browsing the Internet to search for ひきこもり (Hikikomori) related studies.
I downloaded 2 PDF files from two research studies today and I'll start reading it later this evening.

I'm trying to see if I can connect Freud's teaching with this social problem
but everytime I try to get a hit for:

"hikikomori freud"

I always end up getting Nihon Hikikomori Kyokai results since I think the anime adopted some Freud ideas.

This topic is actually a lot tougher and complicated than I thought.

It can be viewed in different perspective.

I want to attack this study using Theories of Personality specifically using Freud's teaching.
But while I browse over related studies on the net I see Carl Jung emerging in the picture.

hmmm....

Do you think ひきこもり syndrome is a work done by the conscious or unconscious mind?
Does the Id and Superego has something to do with it?

I need to go over Sigmund Freud's different Defense Mechanisms.
Wait.
I think Carl Jung has his own set of defense mechanisms~
ah! Was it him or Alfred Adler?

(´□`。) I really have a very poor memory~
