じゃーん。今日の朝ごはんはビスケット。KFCでチキンの横についてくるアレです。
でも手作りのは初めて。momが早起きして作ってくれました。古き良きアメリカの家庭で育ったmomはいっぱいレパートリーを持ってて、dadも息子さんも大好きなレシピです。
オーブンに入れてる間に、お庭でベーコンを焼きます。油っこーい。
この前もらった産みたて卵でマッシュルームとペッパーのオムレツとともに。ビスケットにはマーケットで買った無農薬ハチミツをつけて。アメリカのmomの手料理って感じ！
結婚式も無事終わったし、今日はBellevueで開かれている「Arts & Crafts Fair」へ。途中でビル・ゲイツのお家があるエリアを通過。フェアは今年でちょうど60周年だそう。陶器やガラス製品、皮革、ジュエリー、絵画などたくさん展示販売されてました。
マイクロソフトなどの地元有力企業もスポンサード。
スポンサーのひとつ、GEのアイスレモネードのブース。でも寒い...。
夜ごはんは、昨日のレフトオーバーのカキを焼いたもの。クラムやポテト、サラダとともに。今日もまた１０個くらい焼きガキを食べてしまいました 。今のところお腹は大丈夫！
Ya-ha-!! Today's breakfast was the biscuits !! This was my first real biscuits in my life but at KFC in Japan. Mom wake up early and made them. Mom who was grown up at good old home has a lot of homemade recipe, everybody loves them.
While they ware baked in the oven, her son grilled bacon. Looks so greasy doesn't it ?
We had some mushroom and pepper omelets using fresh eggs the bride's father gave us. Putting the organic honey which was bought in the Pike Place Market. It's real mom's homemade breakfast !!
Dad & mom wanted to go to "Arts & Crafts Fair" at Bellevue. We passed the area that is near Bill Gates. The fair had just 60 years' anniversary. They showed and sell a lot of kinds ceramics and glass products and crafts and jewelry, and paintings.
Many local company like Microsoft had sponsored it. I found the GE booth of iced lemonades. But I felt too cold to try it.
After we came back home, we had many grilled leftover oysters. With grilled crams and vegies, and salad. I had about 10 oysters tonight, but I'm still O.K. !
