NETFLIXで韓国映画「大洪水」を観ました。
最初は災害時パニック映画かと思ったら．．．今世界中で大人気な理由が分かりました。韓国の映像技術ももの凄いですね。
大洪水により滅亡の危機に直面した地球。浸水したマンションの中で繰り広げられる決死の闘いが、人類生存の鍵をにぎる唯一の希望となる。
I saw THE GREAT FLOOD on Netflix because Netflix recommended me this as the most popular movie in the world now.
The great flood was coming to the residential district with many skyscrapers because big meteorite struck to the Antarctic. Gu An-na (played by Kim Da-mi) tries to escape with her son, Shin Ja-in (played by Kwon Eun-seong) to upper floor from flooding but he didn't listen to her. It seems that she is a talented computer scientist and Son Hee-jo (played by Park Hae-soo) supports to help her and her son by the government order. She lost sight of her son many times and she looked for him but finally lost him everytime. She recognized that she has experienced the scene before many times. Shin Za-in is not her real son. He is a prototype of new generation human. Scientists already developed to produce human body and organs with ability of fertility but emotion engine was still developing and she is developing that with her boss. Shin Ja-in had the latest motion engine. She tried to look for and save Ja-in again and again, more than 20,000 times with her vague memories, and finally achieved the goal, artificial sense of maternal. The same day repeats and the T shirt of An-na shows the number of times. But it is not real, just simulation in the computer. I am wondering if the first of the day was real or simulation.
I thought that this is disaster film at first but it wasn't. I think the main themes were virtual reality, machine learning from experience and sense of maternal. I understood why this film ranks the first place of Netflix in the world now.
