I got off at JR Kanamachi Station. It was far from my town even in the same Tokyo.

ありました、ふたば亭です。つり具の看板が不思議な感じですよね。
I walked for around 15 minutes, I got to Futabatei. You can see the sign board of fishing gears above the entrance of the Romen.
釣具屋さんが色々あって新業務を始めたようです。釣具は小物用が多いように感じました。
It seems this Romen has a story. According to the article written by Sakazaki-san on Bunshun Online(「つり具」の看板をドデカく掲げながらも営業実態は「大衆そば屋」…!? 葛飾区金町にある“ナゾのそば屋”が誕生したヒミツを探ってみた | 文春オンライン), it seems that their original business as fishing gear store hasn't go well recently and they decided to start a new business leveraging the space of the store. It looked most of fishing gears were for small fishes and shrimps.
価格設定がかなり安いですね。でも値上げをするようです。土曜日と祝日はお子様うどん無料！Σ(ﾟДﾟ)
The price range was affordable, lunch meal combo, rice bowl and soba noodles, is around 650 yen. Furthermore, udon noodles for children less than 6 years old is for free on Saturdays and National holidays.

I ordered geso-ten soba noodles, it was just 500 yen.
The soba noodle, factory made boiled soba noodle, was not bad, texture was better than other boiled soba noodle products. I am curious which the noodle factory is. To be honest, I am sure that the soup was a professional use soup product, not their original. The gesoten was whole squid tentacle tempura. It was good and I charged gesoline into my body.

昭和の香りを残す商店街ですね。
There were many old-fashioned shops in this area. You can feel an atmosphere of Showa era there.
両さんって今でも連載しているのかなあ？
I liked this cartoon, "This is the police box in front of Kameari Park in Katsushika ward" on Weekly Shonen Jump. when I was a child. I am not sure, is it continued? If you know that, please let me know. This area is still relying on this cartoon but young generation don't know that and should move beyond this cartoon.
