Two days ago, my company offered free lunch meal for participants of the meeting with foreign colleagues. It was a sukiyaki lunch box of Imahan. It was fantastic.
二日連続終日の英語の会議です💦昨日の賄いランチはサンドイッチ。賄いランチがあれば英語の会議も頑張れる！(笑)
Yesterday as well, my company offered a lunch box of sandwiches for participants. It was good.
Yesterday and the day before were really tough. We welcomed global visitors and I participated whole day meetings with them, of course, in English. We prepared the agenda, the story, and developed the slide deck for the presentation. Of course, I gave some presentations. We answered to many questions that they asked. These conversations were meaningless to us but very important for us to make them decide to invest to Japan market. In terms of that objectives, we have done the meetings very well. I feel less stress to communicate with foreign people in English than before but I still struggle to speak in English what I truly want to say.
I recently feel my limitation of English capability and recognize that I have small space to improve my English communication skills. I have much enough experiences and superior skills to drive business in various field, I believe much better than foreign colleagues in my company but have some behind because of my English skills. I need to make sure what I can do more in my rest of career.
