土曜日は路麺の日
京急生麦駅に来ました。横浜市鶴見区です。
Recently, some people expect my blog article on Saturday, as you know, "Saturday is Romen Day". I got off at Namamugi Station of KEIKYU RAILWAY. It is located in Tsurumi ward, Yokohama city, Kanagawa prefecture.
さあ、商店街からスタートです。
I started to walk through old looking shopping street.
お、手打ちそば味楽。お昼のセットがかなりお得。良さそうな町蕎麦です。
Hand-made Soba Miraku. Lunch set look affordable.
産業道路を歩いていきます。
ドライバー向けのお店が揃ってますね。ラーメン屋さんが多いです。
I walked through an industrial road. It means there are many warehouses, transport hubs and many trucks seem to run and enter the highway. There were some ramen noodle restaurants beside the road.
でもここは見た目古すぎて入る勇気ないなあ。でもドライバーさんで溢れてました。
This ramen noodle restaurant Daikokuya. It looks very old almost abandoned, I am not confident to enter but many drivers ate ramen noodles there.
道路に普通に路駐して朝食や昼食を食べに行く感じですね。そんなロケーションにありました、どん八。ロードサイド路麺、ずっと来てみたかった路麺です。
At the place like the picture below shows, there was Donpachi. As well as other industrial roads, drivers can park their cars beside the road for breakfast and lunch. Donpachi has been in my waiting list of Romen for at least 3 years.
店内はカウンターのみ、かなり狭めです。4名で満席かな？
The inside was narrow with 2 counter tables only. The capacity look like 4 people. You need to order what you want to eat to a staff directly and pay when noodle is served.
店内揚げの春菊天、鶏天、コロッケ、ちくわ天、ナス天、かき揚げが全て100円。かき揚げそばにしました。
They had shungikuten, chikuwa (tube shaped fish cake) -ten, chicken tempura, egglant tempura and kakiage. Every tempura was just 100 yen and standard hot soba noodles was 450 yen. I ordered kakiage soba noodles. It was 550 yen.
むむ？食感からすると蕎麦は冷凍蕎麦かな？小麦の味もします。お汁は多分業務用つゆ。他のお客さんの時のオペを観察したら、やっぱり冷凍蕎麦でした。丼に濃縮つゆを入れてお蕎麦を入れる前に「お湯」を足していました。って感じの出来合いですが自家製天ぷら、路駐の出来るロケーション、総合的に良いロードサイド路麺です。ごちそうさまでした。
I felt the soba noodles was frozen type from its texture. And I felt the soup was professional use product. I didn't observe the operation after my order because I was busy to take pictures inside. I observed the cooking opreration for another person's soba noodles. I recognized that my assumption was true. After the order, a staff put frozen soba noodles into hot water and put concentrated soup in the bowl and put hot water into the bowl just before put soba noodles into the bowl.

I don't know the species of cherry blossoms but it was beautiful.
鶴見花月園公園
I visited Tsurumi Kagetsuen Park.
とっても広くてファミリー向けの良い公園ですね。
The park was very large. Many families were enjoying various activities.
みなとみらいも見えました。
At the top of the park, I saw skyscrapers in Minato Mirai.
京急で泉岳寺
I moved to Sengakuji Station on trains of Keikyu railways. Of course, I stopped by Sengakuji temple.
知らない間に高輪ゲートウェイ駅に大きな複合ビルが2棟も出来ていました。ちゃんと人が集まるか要注目ですね。
Before I knew it, there were two huge skyscrapers in front of JR Takanawa Gateway Station that was launched in 2020. It seems conglomerate building with shopping center. I am wondering if the center can attract much people.
