高田馬場駅に来ました。
"Saturday is Romen Day"
I have been leading this campaign since 2018. I am happy if you follow the campaign. I got off at Takadanobaba Station.
高田馬場は鉄腕アトムが生まれた場所であり、手塚治虫の事務所があった場所としても有名です。
Takadanobaba is well known place where Astro Boy was born and there was a office of Osamu Tezuka.
高田馬場で今一番熱い路麺はこの松石。でも今日はここじゃないんですよ。
Speaking of Romen in Takadanobaba, Matsuishi has been a hot Romen in this area. However, this is not my destination on that day.
狭い路地を歩きます。

ミャンマーのラカイン民族料理、食べてみたい！
There was a omg, a Myanmar foods restaurant. It seems that this restaurant serves attractive traditional cuisines in Rakhine state in Myanmar. I would love to have stir-fried crab dish in Rakhine. Does anyone want to go there with me?

This is Kanda River. The term Kanda River remind older adults the old song and its melody.
ありました、蕎麦こばやし。二八そばです。
This is Soba Kobayashi. The advertisement board shows that they serve genuine soba noodles contains 80% of buckwheat flour.
ワンオペで注文後に蕎麦も茹で始め、天ぷらも揚げ始めるので少し待ちます。
Just one staff operated to cook soba noodles and he started to prepare soba noodles from raw soba noodles and deep-fry tempura after an order. You need to wait for few minutes until your soba noodles are served.
注文は口頭でも食券でもOK。でも現金のみです。
You can order to a staff directly or buy a food ticket on the food ticket vending machine but you can not use any cashless payment system.
春菊天そば。別盛りです。
I ordered hot soba noodles with edible crown daisy tempura topping. It was 700 yen. The crown daisy tempura was served on the other dish.
二八そばはしっかりした食感。
The soba noodles that were just boiled from raw soba noodles contains 80% buckwheat flour. The quality of the soba noodle was better than soba noodles of normal Romens but I didn't prefer its texture.
春菊天を乗せて頂きます。うん美味しい。お汁のレシピを教えて欲しいなあ。ごちそうさまでした。
Of course, I put the crown daisy tempura onto the soba noodles because oil of tempura makes soba soup rich and better. The soup was so good. I would like to learn the recipe, how to prepare.

昭和の香りのする古いマンションを通り抜け、
I walked through an old district with old fashioned apartments. I assume that this area was developed in Showa era.
早稲田大のキャンパスです。
There is a campus of Waseda University, one of the top hiralchial universities in Japan in this area. I was not smart as going to Waseda Univ. I remembered that a former coworker was proud of herself as a graduate of Waseda Univ but she had weak mental condition and she left our company.
新大久保まで来ました。コリアンタウンは相変わらず大人気ですね。
I always walk to at least the next station after Romen activity. I got to Shin-Okubo area. There were lots of young women there to enjoy the Korean town.
