先日、英会話でメキシコ人講師とお酒の話をしました。やっぱりメキシコではテキーラが大人気とのことです。ってことで買ってみました。世界No.1の販売量を誇るホセ・クエルボ。テキーラはブルーアガベというサボテンのような植物から作られる蒸留酒です。
In the DMM English lesson on the otherday, I talked about drinks with the tutor from Mexico. He said that Tequila is so popular in Mexico and he also said how Tequila is so good.
I have less experience to drink Tequila and less knowledge about that. Let me try. This is Jose Cuervo Especial, it seems the best selling Tequila in the world, imported by Asahi breweries. Tequila is distilled from blue agave and it has unique taste from that.
調べてみたら塩とライムが相性が良さそう。でもライムは持ってないので塩とレモンで飲みました。癖があるけど美味しいですね。柳橋さんもテキーラ好きそう。
According to the information on the internet, Tequila is suitable with salt and lime. I didn't have lime, so I drank Tequila as straight with lemon and salt. It was good. I guess that Yanagibashi-san may like Tequila.
後から別のメキシコ人英会話講師に聞いたらクエルボは良いブランド、メキシコでも人気だけど高いねって言ってました。グレープフルーツジュースと塩で飲むと美味しいよって教えてくれました。メスカルっていうローカルテキーラもあるよって言ってましたが日本で買えるのかなあ。
I talked to another tutor from Mexico about Tequila later. He said Cuervo is one of the major Tequila brand in Mexico but is high class and expensive, and he also said he is not sure that Cuervo is the best selling Tequila. He recommended me to drink Tequila with grapefruit juice and salt. He said Mezcal is also popular in Mexico and he said Mezcal is local and like cheaper Tequila. Tequila has authorized by the government and has some requirements including ingredients, and places to farm the blue agave. I am not sure Mezcal is available in Japan market.
