干しそばの旅は休止中ですが、生そばが2人前で100円くらいでドンキで売っていたので思わず購入。瀬戸内讃岐工房製ってことでメインはうどんですよね~
I suspended my journey of dried soba noodles as I wrote on my blog. But I love soba noodles, I cook soba noodles very often. I bought raw Japanese soba noodles produced by Setouchi Sanuki Kobo in Kagawa prefecture. As you know, and the corporate name shows that this corporation are producing mainly udon noodles obviously.
This was sold for around 100 yen for 2 portions at Don Quijote, it was really cheap. I didn't stop buying because of my interests. I am not sure how much discount. There is no soba noodle product in their list on the website.

 
生そばなのに茹で時間眺め。
A boiling time is 4 to 5 minutes, longer than usual raw soba noodles.

 

かなりの太麺です。

The soba noodle was thicker.

蕎麦の味が少しするうどんだ(笑)さすが瀬戸内讃岐工房
It was not bad but with very few buckwheat flavor and texture was almost udon noodles.

 
豚肉そばを作りましたが印象は変わらず。中野の田舎そばかさいのお蕎麦に似ている気がしました。
I cooked hot soba noodles with pork and onion toppings on the other day. My impression wasn't changed regardless hot or cold. The texture and taste of the soba noodle was similar with soba noodle of Inaka Soba Kasai in front of Nakano Station.
