Hi there, how are you doing?
I did Romen activity yesterday because "Saturdays are Romen Days". I changed a train from JR Line to Keisei Line, at Nippori station.

I got off Keisei-Sekiya station.

Just after getting off the station, I found the destination on this day.

This is Saigaya, I got to know the Romen house from the article written by Sakazaki-san. Saigaya stands out by the location and the advertisement.

There was a television but the TV always shows the interview movie of this Saigaya that recorded. There were many pictures of celebrities who visited here.

The Saigaya's recommendation was 5 mm thick soba noodles but I ordered kakiage soba noodles with ordinary 1.3 mm thin soba noodles. Looks beautiful.

The soba noodles were freshly boiled from raw soba noodles. And kakiage tempura was also freshly fried. I don't have a good sense of taste but I felt that the soup was made by a soup product. The soup was not sweet but felt sweet, kind of chemical flavor.

I started Roka Sampo.

Sumida river and a small park of aside of river was sophisticated. I always stop by a river, a pond, and a lake because I was an angler.
By the way, there are a lot of high-rise apartments in this area, it seems that this area has been popular residential area.

There was a notification from an official administrator of this river about prohibition for fishing using a rod and a reel because of danger of hooks. I understand a danger of hooks. However, I have no idea that there is other fishing style not using a rod and a reel at this river.

I walked through a road under Komorebi. Komorebi sounds like beautiful, doesn't it? Komorebi means a peaceful sun light through trees and leaves.

This is a Senju Ohashi.

I believe you know Akunohosomichi, a trip diary long time ago. Matsuo Basho who was a famous Haiku artist had a long travel from Tokyo to Gifu by foot 300 years ago. He published its travel dirary named Okunohosomichi. Everyone learn this Okunohosomichi in schools, so everyone know it. The point of departure was this place Senju. It seems that the long travel took over 150 days. I can't imagine how hard it was.

I arrived Senju-Ohashi station. There was a Jiro ramen in front of Senju-Ohashi station but it was closed, it is closed every Saturday.

Please look at this lunch box. A discount grocery in front of Senju-Ohashi station was selling a cheap lunch box for 320 yen including tax. It is too cheap, isn't it? I remember that I saw lunch boxes for as around 300 JPY in KL Malaysia when I have been to there several years ago. An economic deflation in Japan is really serious, right?
Thank you for reading. Have a nice weekend!
