Hi there, how are you?
I didn't do a Romen activity because I was working yesterday although Saturday. Did you do a Romen activity yesterday? Saturdays are Romen Days, you have to follow that.
I like whisky. I usually drink blended scotch whisky, I prefer light blended scotch such like J&B Rare and INVER HOUSE GREEN PLAID. I used to drink Japanese whisky years ago. I prefered non-age Yoichi and Miyagikyo. I also prefered Taketsuru 12 years and FROM THE BARREL. I can say I prefer NIKKA whisky than SUNTRY whisky. Now only FROM THE BARREL is available to buy in these whisky. Several years ago, NHK broadcasted the TV series "Massan", the story of the founder of NIKKA whisky distiller. After that, the demand of whisky has surged. NIKKA said the aged malt whisky of NIKKA have almost stocked out. The movement of Highball at Izakaya restaurants is another reason for that.
Anyway, I bought BLACK NIKKA Deep Blend. I have never tried this. It was great. I love this whisky. This BLACK NIKKA Deep Blend has 45% ABV, woody and slightly peaty flavor. NIKKA said the key malt whisky was aged in new oak barrels but I am not sure how long the key malt was aged in the barrels. Japanese whisky doesn't have any regulation compared with Scotch whisky that has many strict regulations. It matters, you should select good Japanese whisky.

Thank you for reading. Have a nice week!

Yesterday's DMM English lesson review.
I took the lesson yesterday morning by the teacher from Kenya. I am not sure the time difference between Japan and Kenya. She said that 7:30 AM in Japan is 3:30 AM in Kenya. When just started the lesson, she looked like just woke up because she was on the bed and the room light wasn't turned on. I said I am sorry for disturbing your sleep. She said that it is OK because she is an insomnia. I haven't considered the time difference, I have taken lessons in the morning in Japan by teachers from African countries. I got to know the time difference, I will hesitate to book a lesson by a teacher from African countries.
She said that my pronunciation was good, my construction of English sentences was good and I was able to tell my opinion in English. She said I have to improve my English vocabulary. It is!
