5月2日の釣行の時、早朝はベタ凪だったので最高速度更新にチャレンジしてみました。過去の速度はこちら。今回は魚探の振動子ポールも外し、アンカーも船内に入れ、体を前傾姿勢にして空気抵抗を極限まで減らすために頭も完全に下に向けて（全く前を見ずに（笑））走りました。その結果がこちら。最高速度15.41km/hです！惜しくも16km/h超えはなりませんでしたが最高速度更新です！2馬力船としてはトップクラスの速度じゃないかと思います。でも短時間のほんのわずかのトップスピードよりもノントラブルの方が2馬力船外機にはよっぽど重要なことは忘れないようにしましょう。
When I was fishing second May 2016 , Biwako Lake's surface was quiet like mirror. So I tried maximum speed challenge on my inflatable boat (Bee 270k-h) with outboard motor (BF2D). I took the sonnar pole off and put anchor in the boat for reducing water resistance. And I down my head on the boat for reducing air resistance.
I recorded 15.41km/h ! It's my best record not but over 16km/h ! It might be speed records of inflatable boat with 2 horsepower outboard motor. But most important things of 2 horsepower outboard motor is that without mechanical problem and trouble. Don't forget it.
