ブロ友さんのサニークックさんに和歌山の鰹節屋さんカネシゲの出汁パック「天下無双」を頂きました。
Sunny Cook-san, one of my blog friends, gave me a packed dried broth produced by KANESHIGE in Wakayama. I didn't know KANESHIGE at all even though I lived in Wakayama before. It seems that Sunny Cook-san purchase dried broth at KANESHIGE regularly to cook soba soup.
粉砕ではなく細かく薄く削った節ですね。うるめいわしがメインです。
This packed dried broth contains mainly urume iwashi(a kind of surdine), and mackerel and bonito. It seems that this broth contains sliced one, not crushed one.
やはり最初は説明書き通りに出汁をとります。
Follow the instruction of cooking for the first time. I put the pack of broth into peak boiling hot water and boiled for 5 minutes on weak flame, and then stopped the flame and keep it for 5 minutes.

There are many tower apartments in this area. I am wondering what kind of people can live there.
目黒にはかつて目黒製作所というバイクメーカーがあったみたいですね。知りませんでした。今ではカワサキ傘下ですが魂は受け継がれているようです。
There is an exhibition of MEGURO Manufacturer history in JR Meguro Station now, limited period. I didn't know MEGURO Manufacturer of motorcycles at all. Meguro Manufacturer is currently under KAWASAKI, a big motorcycle manufacturer, but the spirit of MEGURO is still living in KAWASAKI. I am not interested in motercycle but Doma-san would be interested in this topic very much.
