After appearing on the Nippon Journal program, I made rounds of courtesy calls and then, in the evening, attended the political and economic cultural meeting of LH lawmaker Yasuhide Nakayama (LDP), elected in the Osaka 4th constituency.
The meeting began with a statement of determination from Miya Hanaoka, who is running as a LDP candidate in the by-election for the Osaka Nishi Ward city councilor, which was announced yesterday.
Like myself, she is a parachute candidate, and she is doing her best.
Guest speaker Takayuki Kobayashi, the LDP Policy Research Council Chairman, said that "It may be rude of me to say this, but she has a 'good face.' She will win."
Next, Chairperson Kobayashi gave a lecture.
Focusing on foreign policy and national security, he spoke about what the Takaichi-LDP is trying to do now, outlining its direction and specific policies.

Titled "Practical Politics," he gave a clear and easy-to-understand explanation of global developments in his areas of expertise -- cybersecurity and intelligence.
As I always think, I wish I could spend more time listening to LH lawmaker Nakayama's talks, as there's just not enough time!
Afterwards, I was introduced on stage and even given time to speak, which I was very grateful for.
At the social gathering held at a different location, I was spoken by many persons, for which I'm very thankful.
I'll do my best again today, in making courtesy calls from the morning.
