On Apr. 13, Mayor Tsuneo Uechi of Yonaguni Town, Okinawa Pref., held a meeting with DM Shinjiro Koizumi at the MoF building. He conveyed his intention to approve the plan to deploy air defense missile unit(s) to the town.
He revealed so to reporters after the meeting.
