On Saturday, after attending a freshperson orientation at the university, I went to Shimonoseki City.
I spoke at the social gathering for the "Tour with Nami Katsuragi and Yuko Sawa: Tracing the dawn of Japan and the origins of direct imperial rule from the Shoka Sonjuku cram school," organized by the Society to Protect the Imperial Line.
I was able to interact with many persons, including Nami and Yuko, old acquaintances, persons who always help me as volunteers, person(s) I hadn't seen in a long time, and the ones I met for the first time.
Furthermore, they became interested showed in my talks about the U.S., it therefore seems that new collaborations may be emerged.
On Sunday, I rushed back to Osaka to attend a lecture by master Kotaro Miura.
I was only there as a guest, but I was suddenly asked to participate in a dialogue.
Mas. Miura said that "Before the war, imperialism and patriotism were symbols of totalitarianism, but now they have been replaced by beautiful words such as 'human rights,' 'peace' and 'anti-discrimination.' It's totalitarianism in nowadays, which labels anyone who expresses even slightly different opinions as a 'racist' and relentlessly attack them."
The most terrifying form of fascism arises from controlling people with a seemingly simple slogan of "justice" that no one can oppose.
