On Nov. 10, a spokesperson for the Taiwanese Presidential Office criticized China's Consul-General in Osaka (* Xue Jian) for posting on X (formerly Twitter) in response to PM Sanae Takaichi's answering in the Diet, saying that >"If you go sticking that filthy neck where it doesn't belong, it's gonna get sliced right off. You ready for that?."
The spokesperson pointed out that it was a deviation from diplomatic etiquette.
