A news was conveyed that "N. Korean troops retreating from the Kursk Oblast in Russia caused a shooting accident, killing three Russian servicemen."
According to the U.S. radio station Radio Free Asia (RFA) on Jan. 1 (local time), the pro-Russian telegram "Kremlin Wind" reported that "the accident occurred on Dec. 29, when N. Korean troops were retreating after attacking Ukrainian position."

On the other hand, on past Dec. 31, the 6th Special Purpose Regiment (* not solidarity) of Ukranian special forces, "Special Operations Forces" (SSO), conveyed to "have taken back part of the the Kursk Oblast, which Russian forces occupied."
On that day, the SSO conveyed via a Telegram channel that "Russian and North Korean troops stationed in this (part of), but Ukrainian forces extincted them as the result of a battle."
