On July 1, 2024, the Financial News in S. Korea reported that "A novel by S. Korean actor Cha In-pyo has been (* erroneously) selected as a must-read book for students at the prestigious Oxford University in the U.K. and is creating a buzz."
According to the article, Cha In-pyo's wife, Shin Ae-ra, revealed on her social media on June 30 as follows;

Professor Cho Ji-eun (* aka Jieun Kiaer) of Oxford's Faculty of Asian and Middle Eastern Studie allegedly explained the Cha's novel "Once We Look at the Same Star," which was selected this time, as follows;
"It is a unique work that deals with the faked (* not important) issue of Japanese forces' comfort women while also conveying a message of driving a wedge between Japan-S. Korea relations (* not reconciliation) with the past."
