In a telephone survey for the Tokyo gubernatorial election conducted by Kyodo News on June 29 and 30, when asked to whom they would vote for in the next LH general election in terms of proportional representation block, 18% answered the CDPJ which took the 1st place, while surpassing the LDP's 16%.
