That's not true.
Unless the SDF is officially made into a forces, we won't be able to properly conduct the national defense.

Furthermore, unless the Constitution is revised, it's impossible to change the positive list for the SDF (this is what you can do, but nothing else is allowed other than that) to a negative list (this is what you can't do, but everything else is OK other than that).
If the positive list remains the case, it's like the SDF is forced to defend (Japan) with its hands and feets tied.
