In the U.S., Jewish students are being excluded from prestigious universities such as Harvard and Columbia. In Europe, synagogues (Jewish places of worship) are allegedly being set on fire one after another, and Jews are being lynched frequently.
If it goes as it is, there's no telling when "Kristallnacht" (* aka the "Crystal Night" or "Night of Broken Glass") will be re-produced.
The Kristallnacht refers to the anti-Semitic campaign that broke out across the whole Germany in the middle of the night on Nov. 9, 1938. At that time, not only the synagogues but also Jewish homes and shops were destroyed and set on fire.
Even bludgeonings to death and rapes were done.
It got its name because the broken glasses shone like crystal when illuminated by moonlight and flames.
