At around 5:30 pm on April 6, in Dong District in Busan City, S. Korea, a male in his 30s placed black plastic bags to cover the "statue of girl of peace" & "statue of forceful conscripted worker" in front of the Japanese Consulate General.
At the time, the male was sitting on a chair next to the statue of girl of peace (aka comfort woman statue).
He allegedly covered them with black plastic bags when the Busan consulate security police wasn't paying attention to him and even attached masks with the word "removal" written on it to them.

In response to this incident, the artist (* sculptor) who made "the CW statue," Kim Eun-Sung, filed a written complaint with the Busan Eastern Police Station on the 23rd, saying that "he violated my copyright."
After pointing out that "It's a kind of criminal act to cover my works with plastic bags and asking people to participate in it on social media while boasting the action by himself," Kim Eun-Sung criticized the male, saying that "The male's action was the same as attacking me."
