When I appreciate Shiori Kanno, I'm criticized by conservative circle. However, what she did as a politician was extremely proper -- she continuously appealed alone to participate, while the CDPJ boycotted the constitutional debate, worked hard to pass a resolution criticizing China for its persecution of the Uyghurs and enforce the Japanese edition of the Magnitsky Act.
Japanese politics won't be improved unless such persons are in opposition parties.
The CDPJ at present isn't a proper opposition party.
