> 17日午前３時15分ごろ、韓国海洋警察庁から第８管区海上保安本部（舞鶴）に「韓国籍漁船から遭難警報を受信した」と救助協力の連絡があった。

At around 3:15 am on March 17, the Korea Coast Guard contacted the 8th Regional Coast Guard Headquarters, Japan Coast Guard (Maizuru) in order to request rescue assistance, saying that "We have received a distress alert from a S. Korean-flagged fishing boat."
According to the 8th Regional Coast Guard, the fishing boat capsized and one of the six crews, an Indonesian male, is missing.
A patrol boat from the Tsuruga Coast Guard (Tsuruga City, Fukui Pref.) searched him with the S. Korean side.

According to the 8th Regional Coast Guard, the site is approx. 180 km west of the Oki Islands in Shimane Prefecture.
The fishing boat is allegedly 9.77 tons and there was no oil spill.
There were totally six persons on board -- three S. Koreans including the captain, two Indonesians and one Vietnamese -- and five of them were rescued by the South Korean side.
