The Asahi Shimbun supports this ridiculous sentence handed down by the Sapporo High Court with a shamuful interpretation that "two genders" doesn't mean "man and woman" but "person to person" and the High Court determined the essence of the constitutional provision. However, its head is rotten.
This double standard -- different from the usual interpretation of the constitution sticking with the consistency of words -- is just the same as intellectually collapsed Asahi Shimbun and ugly.
