In response to "Rising sun flag rickshaw" driven in New York City in the U.S., Prof. Seo Kyoung-duk at Sungshin University in S. Korea, who is famous as "anti-Japan professor,," protested againt the NYC authority. However, the city authority allegedly replied that "it's not under our jurisdiction."

Last year, as Prof. Seo Kyoung-duk received many information that "Tourist rickshaws decorated with the Rising Sun flag are driven" in New York's Central Park, a world-famous tourist destination, and surrounding tourist spots, he sent a protest e-mail to the NYC authority at the beginning of this year.
According to Prof. Seo Kyoung-duk, he recently reveived an answer from the NYC authority that "We accepted your unsatisfactory-matter and as the result of detailed consideration, we judged that the matter isn't under the authorities' jurisdiction."

Prof. Seo Kyoung-duk explained that "Recently too, I received information about the Rising Sun flag rickshaws" and conveyed that "In order to avoid foreign turists to misunderstand, within short, I plans to request the NYPD for cooperation."
