In response to a proposal by UH lawmaker Haruko Arimura (LDP) to revise the political fund control law and prohibit purchase of party tickets by foreigners and foreign corporations, PM Kishida answered that "I share the awareness of the problem. I would like to think about what we can do as the LDP. It's important to properly address activities harmful to Japan by foreign countries, such as collecting information on Japanese politics and other fields, influencing works on various sectors of Japan, etc."
