On Mar. 2, a seminar was held in Osaka in order to consider the actual conditions and prospect of the Korean Peninsula, where inter-Korean confrontation has been intensified. Seo Dae-gyo (45), Gunma Prefecture native journalist living in S. Korea, lectured.
He explained that the reason why the widening disparity in the S. Korean society and the world's lowest level birth rate was due to the not fanctioning politics caused by the North-South divide, and appealed that "S. Korea should break away from the idea that the two Koreas must be unified, recognize N. Korea as a sovereign state and make efforts to establish diplomatic relations."

Pyongyang declared that S. Korea was an enemy country at the end of last year, while Seoul accused of N. Korea as "like anti-ethnig group."
Seo Dae-gyo pointed out "The bilateral relations, which was a special relations aiming at unification, has broken down."
However, he explained that the S. Korean society was indifferent to the unification issue, it has therefore not even been an issue in the general election next month.
