> 韓国の申源湜国防相は 27日までに、北朝鮮が昨年11月に打ち上げて運用を始めたと主張する軍事偵察衛星について「偵察も地上との通信もしていない」と述べ、衛星が機能していないとの見方を示した。
> 韓国が軍事偵察衛星を昨年12月に続き今年４月にも打ち上げるとも明らかにした。
Concerning the military reconnaissance satellite that N. Korea asserts to have launched and began operation in last November, by Feb. 27, S. Korean Defense Minister Shin Won-sik said that "neither reconnaissance nor communication with the ground are done" and showed a view that the satellite didn't work.
He also revealed that S. Korea would launch a military reconnaissance in April this year following last December.

N. Korea asserted to have launched the military reconnaissance satellite "Malligyong-1" on Nov. 21 last year, the satellite took photos of U.S. military base and so on, and a reconnaissance satellite operation office in Pyongyang began its mission on Dec. 2.
Around that time, the U.S. and S. Korea confirmed that the satellite was placed into orbit, while explaining to continuously analyze whether ot nor it was functioning as a satellite.
