I can't forgive the Russian Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev (former president)'s post on the other day that "I have no interest in the feelings of the Japanese nationals regarding the so-called Northern Territories. They are Russian territory."
In addition, Tokyo's response to this remark was also insufficient.
When such remark is made, it's necessary for the foreign minister or prime minister to quickly refute it and disseminate to the international community.
Dissemination via social media is also acceptable.
If (Tokyo) doesn't refute, it means to accept that.
Instead of a "strong protest" made by the FoMA, Tokyo should disseminate words of rebuttal that are even stronger than (Russian) words.
