Concerning the the former conscripted workers lawsuit against Hitachi Zosen Corp., in which the plaintiff's victory was finalized on Dec. 28 at the Supreme Court of Korea, Dec. 29, lawyer(s) on the plaintiff side revealed to start to procedure to request to receive the deposit money -- which Hitachi Zosen Corp. deposited to court in order to avoide forceful execution -- as early as next week.
If it's approved, even though indirectly, it will be the 1st case that fund from one of defendant companies, that lost in a series of former conscripted workers lawsuits, is handed down to the plaintiff.

Dec. 28, Hitachi Zosen Corp. released a comment on the Supreme Court of Korea sentence this time that "it contradicts with the Japan-RoK claim rights agreement, Tokyo's views on it and our campany's claim. It's therefore extremely regrettable."
