At a press briefing on Apr. 10, Junya Ogawa, head of the CRA was asked for his opinion on the relocation of the U.S. Marine Corps Air Station Futenma (Ginowan City, Okinawa Pref.) to Henoko in Nago City, but he didn't express a stance for or against it.
He said that "Speaking lightly about that itself is irresponsible."
The CRA has yet shown its stance on the relocation in its basic policy, and was therefore criticized by both ruling and opposition parties in the recent Lower House general election.

We feel a growing sense of crisis."
While taking the actual situation -- the CRA consists solely of Lower House lawmakers, while the CDPJ and Komei Party are comprised of Upper House lawmakers and local assembly members -- in mind, he said that "The 3 parties are operating on two wheels and have not yet achieved a harmonious structure as a political party."
