25C（クォーター）記念コイン

先日まで全く気がつかなかったのですが、25セント硬貨の裏には大きく2つのデザインがあります。

１つは鷲、もう1つは各州を代表する絵柄です。

Webで検索すると、以下サイトに詳細がありました。

”50 State Quarters Program”という名前で、1999年から10年間の間、毎10週に発行されるみたいです。

（アメリカには50州あるので、年間5枚発行×10年=50州という計算）

2008年で50州全部発行。

最後の5州はOkurahoma/New Mexico/Arizona/Alaska/Hawaiiです(上の写真参照)

発行履歴をみると、アメリカに追加された州の順に発行されているみたいです。

また枚数も限定かつ毎回一定ではないです。

発行が一番多い州 ：バージニア（1,594,616,000枚）
発行が一番少ない州：オクラホマ （416,600,000枚）

※バージニア州の時に発行された枚数の約1/3

私が持っているのは6種類。

収集家が多いみたいですが、50州すべて収集したいと思います。

2009年にはDCとUS Territoriesの記念硬貨（6種類）
2010年から、アメリカ国立公園の記念硬貨が発行されるみたいです。

アマゾンで発売されているKindle（電子書籍）がオバマ大統領の名前を正確に発音できないとのこと。
”Barack Obamaが・・・Brack Alabamaに”

日本人には黒いアラバマ？と聞こえるのでは。

もっている方は、一度試してみてください。

後、CA州知事のシュワルツネガーも正確でないとのことです。

Namely: Amazon's vaunted Kindle can't properly pronounce the name of the President of the United States.

That's a bit of a problem when you're positioning your product as a replacement for newspapers -- where coverage of the President is a daily event -- and touting its read-aloud system as well.

The New York Times (no stranger to writing about the Prez) says that the name "Barack Obama," when read aloud by the Kindle's computerized text-to-speech system, sounds something like "Brack Alabama."

まっさかさまに落ちました、やられました

本日、今までこつこつ稼いだ利益が1つの株にやられました。

これだけでも、凹むのですが、”あっ、やばい”と思って売った瞬間に上がり始めました。

さらに凹みました。
現在のトータルの利益は5ドルになってしまいました。

一時は、儲かりすぎて、年末のTax申請は大変になるのかなーと幸せに考えていたのですが振り出しに戻りました。

損が出ていない分だけ、いいかな。　

ただ、先月の締めで利益が出ていたので家族で寿司にいったのが少し痛いです。

初心に戻って、すこし研究してから購入します。
