21章
1
1 新世界 1エホバはなおもモーセに言われた，「祭司たち，すなわちアロンの子らに語りなさい。あなたは彼らにこう言わねばならない。『その民の中にあって，だれも死亡した魂のために自分の身を汚してはいけない。

4 He may not defile himself and make himself profane for a woman who belongs to a husband of his people.

6 They should be holy to their God, and they should not profane the name of their God, for they are presenting Jehovah’s offerings made by fire, the bread of their God, and they must be holy.
6 ‘They shall be holy to their God and not profane the name of their God, for they offer the offerings of the LORD made by fire, and the bread of their God; therefore they shall be holy.

7 They should not marry a prostitute, a woman who has been defiled, or a woman divorced from her husband, because the priest is holy to his God.
7 ‘They shall not take a wife who is a harlot or a defiled woman, nor shall they take a woman divorced from her husband; for the priest is holy to his God.

8 You must sanctify him, because he is one presenting the bread of your God. He should be holy to you, because I, Jehovah, the one sanctifying you, am holy.
8 ‘Therefore you shall consecrate him, for he offers the bread of your God. He shall be holy to you, for I the LORD, who sanctify you, am holy.

9「『さて，祭司の娘が売春を行なって自分の身を汚す場合，その者は，自分の父を汚しているのである。彼女は火の中で焼かれるべきである。
9祭司の娘である者が、淫行をなして、その身を汚すならば、その父を汚すのであるから、彼女を火で焼かなければならない。

9 “‘Now if the daughter of a priest should profane herself by committing prostitution, she is profaning her father. She should be burned in the fire.
9 ‘The daughter of any priest, if she profanes herself by playing the harlot, she profanes her father. She shall be burned with fire.

9 “ ‘If a priest’s daughter defiles herself by becoming a prostitute, she disgraces her father; she must be burned in the fire.

10「『また，兄弟たちの大祭司，すなわち頭にそそぎ油を注がれ，その手に力を満たされて衣を身に着ける者，その者は自分の頭を整えないでいるべきではない。その衣を裂くべきでもない。
10その兄弟のうち、頭に注ぎ油を注がれ、職に任ぜられて、その衣服をつけ、大祭司となった者は、その髪の毛を乱してはならない。またその衣服を裂いてはならない。
10兄弟たちのうち大祭司で、頭にそそぎの油がそそがれ、聖別されて装束を着けている者は、その髪の毛を乱したり、その装束を引き裂いたりしてはならない。
10 “‘The high priest of his brothers, on whose head the anointing oil is poured and who has been installed to wear the priestly garments, should not let his head go ungroomed or tear his garments.
10 ‘He who is the high priest among his brethren, on whose head the anointing oil was poured and who is consecrated to wear the garments, shall not uncover his head nor tear his clothes;

10 “ ‘The high priest, the one among his brothers who has had the anointing oil poured on his head and who has been ordained to wear the priestly garments, must not let his hair become unkempt or tear his clothes.

11また，どんな死んだ魂のもとにも来るべきではない。その父や母のためにも身を汚してはいけない。
11死人のところに、はいってはならない。また父のためにも母のためにも身を汚してはならない。

11 He should not approach any dead person; he may not defile himself even for his father or his mother.

12聖なる所から出るべきでもなく，自分の神の聖なる所を汚してもならない。献納のしるし，すなわち神のそそぎ油が彼の上にあるからである。わたしはエホバである。
12また聖所から出てはならない。神の聖所を汚してはならない。その神の注ぎ油による聖別が、彼の上にあるからである。わたしは主である。

12 He should not go out from the sanctuary and should not profane the sanctuary of his God, for the sign of dedication, the anointing oil of his God, is upon him. I am Jehovah.
12 ‘nor shall he go out of the sanctuary, nor profane the sanctuary of his God; for the consecration of the anointing oil of his God is upon him: I am the LORD.

13 “‘He must take as a wife a woman who is a virgin.

14やもめあるいは離婚された女，また犯された女，遊女，これらのいずれをめとってもいけない。自分の民の中から処女を妻として迎えるべきである。
14寡婦、出された女、汚れた女、遊女などをめとってはならない。ただ、自分の民のうちの処女を、妻にめとらなければならない。
14やもめ、離婚された女、あるいは淫行で汚れている女、これらをめとってはならない。彼はただ、自分の民から処女をめとらなければならない。
14 He may not marry a widow, a divorced woman, one who has been defiled, or a prostitute; but he should take a virgin from his people as a wife.
14 ‘A widow or a divorced woman or a defiled woman or a harlot—these he shall not marry; but he shall take a virgin of his own people as wife.

15 He should not profane his offspring among his people, for I am Jehovah, who is sanctifying him.’”

17 “Tell Aaron, ‘No man of your offspring throughout their generations who has a defect may approach to present the bread of his God.

18身に欠陥のある者がいる場合，その者は近づいてはいけない。すなわち，盲目の者，足のなえた者，鼻の裂けた者，肢体の一方が長すぎる者，
18すべて、その身にきずのある者は近寄ってはならない。すなわち、目しい、足なえ、鼻のかけた者、手足の不つりあいの者、

18 If there is any man who has a defect, he may not approach: a man who is blind or lame or has a disfigured face or one limb too long,

20 a hunchback or a dwarf, or a man with an eye defect or eczema or ringworm or damaged testicles.

21祭司アロンの胤のうちその身に欠陥のある者はだれも，エホバへの火による捧げ物をささげるために近寄ってはいけない。その者には欠陥がある。その者は近寄って神のパンをささげてはいけない。
21すべて祭司アロンの子孫のうち、身にきずのある者は近寄って、主の火祭をささげてはならない。彼は身にきずがあるから、神の食物をささげるために、近寄ってはならない。

21 No man of the offspring of Aaron the priest who has a defect may approach to present Jehovah’s offerings made by fire. Because he has a defect, he may not approach to present the bread of his God.
21 ‘No man of the descendants of Aaron the priest, who has a defect, shall come near to offer the offerings made by fire to the LORD. He has a defect; he shall not come near to offer the bread of his God.
21 ‘No man among the descendants of Aaron the priest who has a defect is to come near to offer the LORD’S offerings by fire; since he has a defect, he shall not come near to offer the food of his God.
21 No descendant of Aaron the priest who has any defect is to come near to present the food offerings to the LORD. He has a defect; he must not come near to offer the food of his God.

22彼は，極めて聖なるもの，また聖なるものの中から神のパンを食べてもよい。
22彼は神の食物の聖なる物も、最も聖なる物も食べることができる。

23 However, he may not come near the curtain, and he may not approach the altar, because there is a defect in him; and he should not profane my sanctuary, for I am Jehovah, who is sanctifying them.’”
