今回和訳する洋楽は、つーい先週リリースされたHOTな一曲。
Solangeの"Don't touch my hair"
なかなか奇抜な曲名が魅力的で、Youtubeで再生したら、もう曲も歌詞もミュージックビデオも全てがそんじょそこらの洋楽POPミュージックと一線を画していて、久々に頭のてっぺんまでGoosebumps(鳥肌)が立ったよ。
Solangeの「Lovers in the parking lot」っていう曲を数年前に聴いて、MV共々カッコよすぎて、「何この人！！」って衝撃を受けた。でも、その時は曲名も歌手の名前も覚えていなくて、誰だったけ～と見失ってしまった。
そして今回ふたたびSolangeは私の前に現れて、全身鳥肌まみれにしていった。しかもパワーアップして。
もう見失ったりしないよ！

このMVの芸術的な魅力度はやっぱり定点カメラで撮影しているのが大きいね。
無駄なカメラの動きを無くして、対象物のムーブとビジュアルを最大限に活かしてる。
Solangeのセンスには脱帽です。Beyonce/Solange、姉妹そろってなんて才能。羨ましっ
そして、歌詞の意味についての見解は言わないことにする。抽象的なものは分解すると魅力半減しちゃう気がするしね。
