Mom, an ardent fan, was watching the moment Shohei Ohtani achieved 40-40 with a farewell grand slam home run on live TV. I was hanging out the laundry on the balcony when I heard a scream from inside the house. I went inside to see what was going on and saw Ohtani rounding third base. The TV commentators were also screaming. I was worried about Ohtani because he had started off poorly. We are glad.
