援助(奉仕)には3つの段階があります。
第一段階は、
人間性(慈悲心)ゆえに助けることです。
困っている人に贈り物を手渡すだけでなく、
愛と敬意をもってその人の足に触れ、足を洗います。
次に、彼に助ける機会を与えてくれて、
それによって神の恩寵を引き寄せてくれたことに感謝しています。
